On Light, time and the everyday
My paintings arise from a contemplation of light as an essential element of life. I conceive each work as a living space, where reality is transformed into a poetic atmosphere shaped by silence, presence, and time. Through painting, I seek to reveal the quiet beauty contained in ordinary places and overlooked elements: walls, branches, leaves, shadows, subjects that may appear insignificant yet hold a profound sense of truth and authenticity in their simplicity.
I’m captivated by how fragile and transient moments can be, to the subtle changes of light, and to everything that exists between permanence and disappearance. Nature, time, and the ephemeral are constant presences in my work.
My practice moves between instinct and structure, between abstraction and figurative order. Through a slow and attentive observation of reality, I try to distill what feels essential, reinterpreting the everyday and restoring emotional value to what often goes unnoticed.

"Troballes" (Discoveries)
I gather moments, whether they are the product of an unexpected encounter or the result of a persistent and constant search.
I capture moments in which the elements that surround us intertwine in a subtle way, creating an atmosphere of stillness, beauty, and reflection. A dialogue between the ephemeral and the enduring, an encounter between the urban and the natural, where light becomes a main actor, serving as the driving force that transforms something ordinary into something extraordinary.
The textures of the walls, with their marks and deterioration, form an epidermis that evokes the persistence of the inert in the face of a constantly changing nature. The sun, filtering through the branches of the trees, creates irregular patterns on the walls, as if nature were trying to soften the rigidity of the structure, where the shadows seem to tell parallel stories, reflecting their complexity and boldness.
I seek something deeply contemplative in the silence of these scenes, in the stillness of their elements—moments suspended in time, as if the puddles and reflections would never evaporate and the shadows of the branches would not dissolve with the clouds.
Each painting, in its own way, reminds us that even in the simplest corners there is something that moves us, something that speaks to our senses, as long as we are willing to observe and, of course, to find.
